Julia Gray is an author and contemporary singer-songwriter based in London. To date she has released five albums - three with the trip-hop collective Second Person and two solo albums. Influenced by the singer-songwriters of the 1970s onwards, such as Kate Bush, Tom Waits, Joni Mitchell and Carole King, she places a focus on complex, nuanced lyrics and subtle, emotive storytelling.
